What is a woman of isolation ? : To me a woman of isolation is anyone that doesn't get out very often due to vehicle issues, living in the country or a remote area, lack of finances or a disability. A Woman Of Isolation also has gifts and contributions to make to society that can be over-looked. I also feel that women of isolation need each other......to pull together in some way and lift each other up and encourage one another.
My mission : I am Christian and feel this is something God is leading me to do but I am also a woman of isolation due to being a one vehicle family. I am a college student and am often at home five days a week. My husband takes me to school and picks me up. The remainder of the week I am at home, in walking distance from no-where. I use the word isolation as while being buried in the country can be a blessing, it can also become almost like an isolation. One can feel alone, depressed and discouraged even while loving their location.
Is Women of Isolation only for women ? For now, I think it is. I hope to establish a newsletter and a web site of tips, encouragement from others, money saving strategies, recipes and more in the future but I thought this might be a way to see if anyone else feels the same way ?
